Where sweater meets poncho to create a work of art. You'll love working with Juniper Moon Farm Patagonia on this fun and interesting project. Designed by Susan Gressman, the design is worked top down seamlessly using a simple slip stitch (Mosaic) pattern and stockinette stitch.
Yoke increases are worked using a kfb which is hidden in decortive garter ridges separating the different stitch pattern.
The sleeves are worked with no shaping to contribute to the flowing effect of a poncho and end with dramatic decreases and k2p2 rib to match the k2p2 turtleneck. The long cuff rib can either be worn straight to create bracelet length sleeves or folded up for ¾ length which also mimics the turtleneck. The body has A-line shaping to create a loose flowing feel along the cropped bottom edge.
The pattern is written in 5 sizes:
Meant to be worn with approximately 4-6”/10-15 cm of positive ease, 3 x Main Color and 2 x Contrast Color of Patagonia are sufficient for all sizes.
Sizing should be based on what you would be comfortable wearing.
