Class Overview: Steeking is a traditional knitting technique used to cut through knitted fabric to create openings, such as for armholes, necklines, or cardigans, without the need for separate pieces or seaming. This technique is particularly common in Fair Isle and other stranded colorwork projects, where it allows knitters to work continuously in the round and then cut the fabric to achieve the desired shape.
