Hosted by KnittyGrittyYarnGirl
There is something special that happens when a small group of makers gathers with intention.
The Friendship Knit & Crochet Retreat is a thoughtfully curated, intimate experience designed for knitters and crocheters who value connection, creativity, and time well spent. This retreat is not about doing more, it’s about slowing down, going deeper, and enjoying the company of others who understand the joy of making.
Many of our attendees return year after year, and we are proud to keep this retreat intentionally small so the experience remains personal, warm, and welcoming.

The Friendship Yarn Bar
A favorite tradition of the retreat has always been the shared project that participants work on throughout the weekend. For 2026, we’re excited to introduce a new experience: The Friendship Yarn Bar. Rather than selecting yarn months in advance, each attendee will receive a Friendship Retreat Yarn Bar Credit included with registration. When the retreat begins, you’ll choose yarn for your retreat project in person from a curated selection at the Yarn Bar. This allows you to see colors and fibers together, talk with fellow attendees about project ideas, and choose the yarn that truly inspires you in the moment. Project options will be announced later this spring / early summer, and upgrades will be available if something special catches your eye.
