The LYS Love Shawl, designed by Jessica Ays of Double the Stitches is a featured project for LYS Day on April 29th.
This lovely rectangular shawl features an elegant lace stitch center panel and stockinette side panels that finish off with complimentary lace edges. Jessica created the shawl with Ciao from Jody Long Yarns and we're offering kits in the same.
Each kit includes 5 balls of Jody Long Yarns Ciao in your color choice, a project bag and link to the pattern. The kit will be sent when the order is placed. The link to the pattern goes live on April 29, so order your kit now and be ready to cast on when the pattern is released.
To order your kit, simply indicate the number of kits you would like and list the color name(s) in the Notes section at checkout.
Most colors are in stock and available. If a color is unavailable, we will let you know immediately and help you choose an alternate color or yarn for your project.

Here's what Jessica says about the Love LYS Shawl, "This year’s LYS Day pattern is a long rectangular shawl that will keep you engaged as you knit.
The shawl begins with an elegant lace stitch pattern for the center panel. There is no sewing or
seaming, since the side panel stitches are picked up along the edges of the center lace panel.
The elegant pattern is created using lace stitches - no cable needle needed!
Growing simply and quickly in stockinette stitch, the side panels are perfect for social knitting or tv watching.
You’ll finish knitting the side panels with a couple of repeats of the lace to bring extra detail and
interest to your shawl no matter how you wear it!
I created this pattern in honor of Local Yarn Store Day 2023, a brick-and-mortar yarn shop appreciation day designed to show support for small businesses. This special event brings together a unique community of knitters, crocheters, weavers and spinners to drive awareness and celebrate the craft."
