The Timber Run Vest by JoJo Knits was inspired by the tracks in the snow that skiers leave behind. Slalom stitch panels (cables) adorn the asymmetrical front and the back of this cozy vest. This one knits up fast on US 13 needles with Andeamo super bulky yarn by Jody Long.
The vest is worked flat from the bottom up to the armholes. The work is then split and the fronts and backs are finished separately. There is very little finishing involved (yeah!). Once the shoulders are seamed using a 3-needle bind off, the collar stitches are picked up and worked flat. Then stitches are picked up for the armhole ribbing and worked in the round. Simple and fun. Kits ordered today are pre-orders for mid-October delivery.
